Amazon has secured a deal to open a 23,216-square-foot office in Atlantic Station, the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) Wednesday first reported.
The Seattle-based Internet services firm would be situated in the 25-story 271 17th Street high-rise, anchored by BB&T.
Official plans for Amazon’s forthcoming offices were filed Friday with City of Atlanta.
An estimated $2,000,000 could be spent building out Amazon’s new offices on the tower’s twelfth floor including interior partitions and finishes, and a break area, among other work, according to the official filing.
It’s unclear how Amazon would use the space, according to the ABC. But it could be for a new business unit.
