Ponce City Market (PCM) developer Jamestown LP has acquired neighboring mixed-use Southern Dairies, the Atlanta Business Chronicle Monday first reported (paywall).
Jamestown, which earlier this year purchased The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, paid $34.5 million for Southern Diaries, according to Fulton County property records.
The adaptive reuse was built in the early 1900s as a milk distribution facility and sits across the street from PCM on a 4.1-acre site.
Southern Dairies is mostly home to office tenants including the headquarters of Smith Dalia Architects whose Principal Markham Smith was an owner in the mixed-use through Southern Dairies Partners LLC.
Southern Dairies recently welcomed Lola, a co-working facility for women, and at one point was home to restaurant Deep End and 4th and Swift before that.
Plans for the center under Jamestown’s direction are unclear.
The developer on Monday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
