Multifamily developer submits plans for 356-unit high-rise.

Post Properties and The Preston Partnership will soon begin construction on Midtown Millennium, a 23-story residential building on the empty lot behind the Federal Reserve.

A building permit application was filed with City of Atlanta Monday to develop the land where the apartment tower will be housed.

An estimated $1,174,646 will be spent readying the land for the 356-unit project above seven levels of fully-enclosed parking, according to the application.

The tower, at the northwest corner of 11th Street and Peachtree Walk over an existing MARTA tunnel, will boast a rooftop pool and “skylounge” and an eighth floor landscaped amenity terrace and club room.
