Hedgewood Homes, a residential developer known for sections of Serenbe, Glenwood Park, and Alpharetta City Center, is expected to open its Rock Spring residential community by late-fall, just up the street from Piedmont Park.
Rock Spring, situated adjacent historic Rock Spring Presbyterian Church, will be home to nine single-family dwellings, according to a Brightstar at Compass press release Monday.
Lew Oliver is the architect.
Each home, priced in the $1.5 to 1.8 million range, features owner’s suites on the main level, three-car garages, cedar shake roofs, and private, maintained gardens.
Floorplans are available in 3,000- to 4,000-square-foot options with “expandable” third floors if desired.
Phase I will include four of the planned nine homes, starting with residences six, seven, eight, and nine.
“It’s rare to have an opportunity for a premium collection of new homes in one location in-town, where most new homes are found in ‘infill’ opportunities,” Pauline Miller, president of Brightstar, said in the release.
“Not being restricted by traditional narrow in-town lots provides an opportunity to create something very special for our new homeowners.”
