The Cheetah’s rotating marquee sign has been removed from atop the Midtown strip club, Bisnow first reported.

Neighboring Fortune 500 NCR via its legal team requested that the signage get taken down, at 887 Spring St NW, according to Bisnow.

NCR and The Cheetah reached “a business agreement” regarding the sign.

The details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Reddit user “gopa824” first spotted the sign rolling down I-20 at the end of December.

Speculation that the landmark strip club would close to make way for vertical development was at the focus of conversation for the Reddit post.

“The Cheetah has no plans to shutter its doors,” a spokesperson for the strip club told Bisnow.

“As you know, developers have coveted the location for many years. Periodic rumors of impending sales or closures seem to pop up from time to time.”

  • It’s a shame NCR says they have no money for incremental merit increases for employees but they have money to bribe strip club owners and refurb the execs 20th floor in a brand new building. This is garbage spending stock holders money on bribes. Some exec heads need to roll for this.

We understand that that business deal was 10 million dollars and why not. If I was the Cheetah owner I wouldn’t be bought off cheaply either.
