Studioplex’s under-construction Phase II has been named SPX Alley.

Columbia Ventures is developing the 32,000-square-foot retail center at the 9-acre Studioplex mixed-use on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

SPX Alley sits on the ground-level of Thrive Homes’ forthcoming The Residences at Studioplex townhome community and will open spring 2018.

There are at least nine confirmed tenants according to the project’s latest marketing materials including the recently-named Nina and Rafi, the Italian gastropub “replacing” O4W Pizza.

Future phases under Columbia Ventures’ direction include another small townhouse site and a mid-rise building on the Beltline, featuring residential condominiums over offices.

An undisclosed hotelier will develop a 141 key boutique hotel at the front of the property.
