This 100,000-square-foot Buckhead space will soon get major facelift.

A permit Wednesday was filed with City of Atlanta to add 5,000 square feet of office space to TechRise, a five-story Buckhead office complex for tech startups.

Located at 3405 Piedmont Road, this renovation is slated to cost more than $3 million and will consist of a new entrance, lobby and stairs. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems will also be updated.

The expansion is part of a larger makeover coming to this office space totaling an estimated $25 million.

TechRise is owned by entrepreneur Greg Benoit who is also the CEO of QGenda—a company that provides automated healthcare workforce management software.

The property sits adjacent Atlanta Tech Village, another office complex for tech startups.
