A request to receive special administrative permit approval to complete a zero-lot-line subdivision was submitted to the City of Atlanta by the applicant and property owner EA Homes Assets LP, a Georgia Company. Plans propose completing a development consisting of sixty-nine lots and attached residential units named “The Crosby.” While some of the units originally proposed had been partial to entirely constructed, a vast majority of the site is not completed.

The current zoning designation for the 2.72-acre property located at 912 Huff Road is MR-4 and Beltline Overlay, which was approved on December 13, 2018. Proposed building setbacks along Huff Road are twenty feet and fifteen feet alongside Booth and Ernest Street. As the submitted drawings dictate, building materials continue to include band board, board and batten, and brick.

According to the Empire Community website, EA Homes, formally Edward Andres Homes, is one of the largest family-owned and operated new home builders in North America. Building homes for the past 27 years, they have operated or built more than 28,000 homes, including neighborhoods in East Atlanta, Alpharetta, Buckhead, Summerhill, and West Midtown.
