The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel and its in-house restaurant The Betty will officially open in Buckhead on Wednesday, February 10, according to an announcement this week. The hotel’s other two restaurants and bars — St. Julep and Willow Bar — are slated to open later this spring.
To celebrate the opening, the hotel is hosting a contest to honor and celebrate a local healthcare hero as the first official guest on opening night.
“As a salute to Atlanta healthcare workers’ ongoing contributions and sacrifices during the fight against COVID-19, The Sylvan plans to take care of one healthcare hero and his/her guest by hosting them for a VIP experience, including a premium room on opening night (2/10), a special dinner for two at The Betty, plus a few extra surprises,” a hotel spokesperson told What Now Atlanta in an email.
Now live, the submission-based contest is seeking nominations on The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel’s social media. Nominators are asked to create a social media post describing in a few sentences why the person they’re nominating is deserving of the prize. The contest ends Friday, February 5.
Additionally, Kimpton is offering its ongoing “Healthcare Heroes” package, which allows qualifying guests to receive 30 percent off their stay any time of year. Click here to read What Now Atlanta’s ongoing coverage of The Sylvan.
The outside is nothing to brag about. Reminds me of one of those North Korean government buildings; all white and tiny little windows
Nice job considering they remodeled what was already there.
Man, the amount of Dodge Chargers that will be whippin’ by that place to get to the latest shoot-out at the hottest new hookah lounge will be something to behold!
