Empire Communities (formerly EA Homes) is on track to complete several townhomes by the end of the year in its under-construction, 66-unit community Paintbox. Rising on land formerly home to a large Kirkwood church, at 2012 Memorial Drive SE, Paintbox is sure to make a splash along the Memorial Drive Corridor with its brightly-colored exteriors.
Sales are underway at the community and move-ins will commence as early as December 2020. The townhomes are priced starting in the $300Ks.
“Paintbox located in Kirkwood is crafted to reflect the bright and spirited dwellers that will live there,” according to an advert for the property. “Colorful exteriors will be matched by curated floor plans that make possible a new era of homeownership in one of the city’s most desirable in-town locations.”
Homeowners can choose from 15 exterior colors including Youthful Coral, Marigold, and Perfect Periwinkle.
“Our team chose 15 different colors that we saw in the neighborhood, engaged local artists, and now allowing buyers to choose the exterior color of their townhome,” Saba Loghman, director of acquisitions at Empire, posted on. LinkedIn Thursday.
“Giving the community a strong visual identity will be appealing for this in-town buyer who is looking for something different.”
–now I’ve heard it all. Good grief.
Watch all the buyers choose repose grey.
Fingers crossed.
That rendering looks like a box of salt water taffy. Ugh…
But does repose grey reflect bright and spirited dwellers?
I like the rendering in a “nice to see a colorful picture” kind of way but not in an “I would buy this” kind of way.
Oh my…
I like some color, just not in a bubblegum kinda way.
Give good face.
