More than 5,700 units are planned for Midtown, Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) reports.
The residential towers sprouting up left and right in Midtown aren’t slowing anytime soon.
More than 5,700 residential units are planned for the entertainment and arts district, with an additional 800 already in construction, the ABC showcased Monday in a slideshow highlighting all of this year’s apartment and condo projects.
That’s nearly six-times as many apartments that were delivered in 2013, the ABC notes.
Projects include 1163 West Peachtree St., Novare Group’s proposed 400-unit residential tower with 11,500 square feet of retail, 98 14th St., Olympia Heights Management LLC’s proposed three-tower project with up to 1,300 residential units, and 33 11th St., Post Properties’ proposed 23-story tower with 327 units behind the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Wow, bring it on! Let’s show the rest of the country, the hottest city in the nation!
We’ll be lucky if 2 of these make it to ground breaking. Still waiting to check out Trump tower and the 100 other proposed buildings of yesteryear.
Any updates on the proposed 35 story building at 6th and peachtree st ne?
I am sure more than two will be developed, we are past that number already. I would say 60 percent, we have ggreat market conditions and momentum. Good times, we won’t recognize midtown in 4 years. I agree, bring it on!!!
