A new Thai spot is heading to Ponce City Market. Slated to open in spring 2026, Terminal 26 will open on the ground floor of the Central Food Hall, according to a release.
Niki and Tanya Pattharakositkul, the sisters behind 26 Thai, Pink Lotus and Blackjack Bar Tapas, are the team bringing Terminal 26 to life. The menu will center around Thai street food, especially reimagined Thai seafood dishes.
Expect to see small plates and signature dishes such as Thai Boat Noodles, Crispy Turmeric Fried Chicken, raw oysters with nahm jim mignonette, Jumbo River Prawns with chili-lime vinaigrette, and a Bangkok Oyster Omelette — an egg-and-rice flour pancake topped with oysters and served with a chili-lime mignonette. Dessert items will include offerings like Khanom Krok — coconut-rice cakes with crisped edges, served with seasonal toppings.
The beverage program will feature wine, beer and cocktails inspired by Thailand’s floating markets located along the waterfront. Expect to see flavors like tropical fruits, chili and fresh herbs.
Like the menu, Terminal 26’s design will draw upon Thailand’s floating markets, offering a waterfront ambiance. It will draw on Niki’s memories of floating markets from her youth.
“I always loved to go to floating markets,” Niki told What Now Atlanta. “Instead of walking, you sit on a boat and people are selling food and drinks on a boat.”
The Pattharakositkuls are working with a Thailand-based design firm to design the restaurant. There will be a reflective table reminiscent of a flowing river in the center of the restaurant, as well as elements like fish nets hanging from the ceiling and the illusion of falling water along the walls. Customers will be able to watch the chefs working in the kitchen, and there will be fresh seafood on display.
“The design is going to look fun and different, so the minute you walk into Ponce City Market, I hope people look at my place and say, ‘Hey, what is that?’” Niki said.
Niki and Tanya are both are from Thailand and traveled to the U.S. for college. The duo opened their first restaurant, 26 Thai, in Buckhead in 2016.

I truly hope this rendering is not what the space will look like. To see the impeccable Fish Camp space turn into a sterile fluorescent lit glorified cafeteria is a disgrace. Their other concepts seem to have more personality. If anyone is shocked places go out of business fast, I wouldn’t be. People don’t want to pay premium pricing for mediocrity in atmosphere. It’s endemic in Atlanta and I’m not surprised with parking prices the public isn’t incentivized to come out.
Wow! So excited for this. Rendering looks fantastic, and a major improvement over the sterile fish camp space. Super pumped for some real food in Ponce.
