Steakhouse 404 Celsius will be transitioning from its location in Hogansville to a new address in Senoia. The concept will open in a roughly 4,000-square-foot space at 42 Main St. in Senoia, co-owner Jennifer McElroy told What Now Atlanta. 404 Celsius will be holding a farewell event this weekend on Sept. 26 in Hogansville as they prepare to move.
The move comes nearly two years after Jennifer opened 404 Celsius with Chad McElroy in Hogansville. Over the past couple of years, they have seen a demographic shift in the Hogansville area skewing toward a younger crowd, which spurred them to relocate the high-end steakhouse concept to Senoia.
“We agreed that moving our concept would be better suited for the town,” Jennifer said. “We already have a lot of built up clientele base in the area and surrounding [regions]. It was a better fit because clients could go to that market in an easy drive rather than having to drive 30 or 40 minutes to our other location.”
Customers can expect to see similar design elements to the Hogansville location, including rich tones and an elegant, refined atmosphere. The menu will also remain consistent, though there is potential for expansion.
“We are looking forward to opening up our portfolio to more variety of exclusive meat options and sourcing more farm-to-table because we have a lot more reach locally [in Senoia],” Jennifer said. “Hogansville put us in a bit of a reduced market footprint because it was so far from the metropolitan area.”
The team is currently meeting with vendors and is considering launching its own dry-aging program. Jennifer said they also hope to expand their seafood offerings.
Construction is slated to begin in October, with a target opening in mid-November.
For 404 Celsius, this relocation is just the beginning. The team is looking to bring the concept to more cities as they look to expand the brand.
“We really are interested in taking the steakhouse to larger cities and to grow those in the next couple years,” Jennifer said.
