Atlanta’s Grindhouse Killer Burgers is opening its sixth location on the Upper Westside, offering its signature burgers and a first-day giveaway for the first 100 guests.
Atlanta’s Upper Westside to Welcome New Burgers Spot

Grindhouse Killer Burgers is opening its sixth standalone location on Atlanta’s Upper Westside. The 7,000-square-foot restaurant, owned by partners Alex Brounstein and Johnny Farrow, continues the brand’s rapid growth across the city.
Founded in 2009, Grindhouse Killer Burgers first started at the historic Sweet Auburn Curb Market. The chain is known for its proprietary Certified Angus Beef blend, served in a range of signature burger styles. The new location is at 1221 Chattahoochee Avenue at the corner of Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard and Chattahoochee Avenue.
“The Upper Westside has a strong sense of community, and it felt like the right place for our next location,” said Alex Brounstein, partner at Grindhouse Killer Burgers.
Beyond its growing Atlanta presence, Grindhouse Killer Burgers reaches fans through airport locations, catering, and a food truck program. Two satellite locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, in concourses T and D, serve travelers and airport employees.
It has partnered with the University of Georgia’s athletics program through its catering services and food truck program. There, it serves fans at Sanford Stadium and other university sporting events.
Rooftop Dining and Signature Grindhouse Features
The new two-story restaurant is designed by Studio SOGO Architecture. It features a spacious indoor and covered outdoor seating area, along with a full-service rooftop bar and patio. It is a signature element of the Grindhouse concept and is ideal for sports viewing.
“The rooftop is an important part of our restaurants, and this one was designed as a comfortable place to enjoy good food and drinks. We’re looking forward to serving the Upper Westside,” adds Brounstein.
The rooftop, reserved for guests 21 and older, features large-screen TVs and a shaded patio, perfect for watching sports while enjoying drinks. The restaurant also features a dedicated parking space for dine-in patrons and takeout convenience.
Opening Day Activities
The restaurant opens on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with celebrations and offers. One event that stands out on this day is the freebie offered to the first 100 guests who visit the location. These guests will receive a free Grindhouse Style Jr. Burger, featuring cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, pickles, and Grindhouse sauce.
After opening, the Upper Westside location will be open Wednesday through Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., extending Grindhouse Killer Burgers’ footprint across Georgia.
