Taco Mama is expanding its Georgia footprint with a new location. The brand’s second Georgia location will bring its inventive Mexican menu to the Newnan community. Beyond its menu, the restaurant plans to offer additional amenities and community-focused features.
Taco Mama to Open its Second Georgia Location
Serving an inventive Mexican menu to several neighborhoods, Taco Mama is preparing to open a new location in Newnan. Expanding its influence, its fast-casual environment is leading to the opening of its second Georgia location. The restaurant also brings a festive atmosphere to guests, which is loved by many.
Taco Mama first opened its doors in Crestline Village, Alabama, in 2011. Since then, the brand has expanded across the Southeast, operating a scratch kitchen that prepares fresh ingredients daily. From pre-designed menu items to a “Build Your Own” option, the restaurant has it all.
The restaurant has also been recognized by many publications in the Southeast. Its fresh menu, friendly service, and award-winning margaritas continue to draw strong regional praise.

Taco Mama will open in Newnan on December 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. It is located at 440 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Suite 209. With this opening, the restaurant will bring approximately fifty jobs to the local economy. The restaurant will also offer catering services for groups ranging from 10 to 10,000 guests.
