Achie’s, one of three restaurants in The Battery Atlanta development from Chef Hugh Acheson, has closed.

It was situated in The Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta, at 2625 Cir 75 Pkwy SE.

Achie’s quietly shuttered about a week and a half ago, a representative for the hotel where the restaurant was housed, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Sunday.

Its social media sites, including Facebook and Instagram, have since been deleted.

The restaurant’s telephone has been disconnected.

“[Acheson] thought that the restaurant was doing a good job and Chef Alex Bolduc was executing some great food, but the business just was not viable for the long-term and the hotel decided to go in a different direction,” a company spokesperson in an email told What Now Atlanta.

A new restaurant will not immediately replace Achie’s, according to the hotel representative.

Instead, the Omni will use the space to serve hotel guests breakfast for the foreseeable future.

Employees for the restaurant have been placed elsewhere throughout the hotel.

Acheson’s remaining businesses in The Battery Atlanta include First and Third Hot Dog and Sausage Shack.

An official statement has not yet been provided to WNA.
