Adalina won’t be around to celebrate its one year anniversary.

The Italian restaurant closed its doors for good Saturday, Eater Atlanta Monday first reported.

Adalina was situated in the Post Riverside apartment complex, at 4403 Northside Pkwy NW, in space previously occupied by River Room.

It served wood-fired pizzas and northern Italian-inspired pasta.

Construction lasted nearly two years before the restaurant opened its doors in late-2018.

Executive Chef Josh Hopkins announced news of the closure in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“…we can’t keep [Adalina] open,” Hopkins wrote.

“We’d like to extend our love and appreciation to those that tried…”

Adalina founder Dennis Lange (Five Seasons Brewing Co.) did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment Monday.
