UPDATE (January 10, 2018): Fifth Group Confirms Plans For Alma Cocina in Buckhead
Upon closing December 31, Bricktop’s in Buckhead could be replaced by Alma Cocina, according to rumors circulating among industry insiders.
Alma Cocina’s parent company Fifth Group Restaurants is neither confirming nor denying the rumors.
“Fifth Group Restaurants does not have any information or comment to share regarding Alma Cocina Buckhead,” a company spokesperson Thursday told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in response to the rumors.
A call to the restaurant’s original downtown location returned a similar sentiment.
“We’re not sharing any information about those plans at this time, but if you leave us your number, we’ll get back to you when we can,” a manager said.
Emails to Fifth Group owners and Terminus leasing representatives have gone unanswered, and leasing materials for the office complex, at 3280 Peachtree Road NE, still show Bricktop’s on the latest site plan.
