UPDATE (February 21, 2018): Studioplex Restaurant ‘Replacing’ O4W Pizza Will Be Called Nina and Rafi

Anthony Spina, the restauranteur behind O4W Pizza (the popular pizzeria that last year relocated to Duluth), is planning a new concept for Old Fourth Ward, according to a press release Thursday.

Spina is partnering with Billy Streck to open a yet-to-be-named “gastropub” in mid-2018. Streck is the owner of Hampton + Hudson, Cypress Street Pint + Plate, and the recently-shuttered Grain Spirits and Food.

The new restaurant and bar will be situated in Studioplex’s new phase at 659 Auburn Avenue Northeast, and will be similar “but a little different” to what Spina’s “doing out in Duluth.”

The new joint will serve top-selling pies from O4W Pizza and other Italian snacks, sandwiches, salads, and pasta, including vegan and gluten-free options, alongside a tight beverage program with a full bar.

The forthcoming restaurant’s design is a collaboration among Billy and Jenn Streck, Anthony Spina, and local Atlanta firm Smith Hanes Studio.

It will face the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail and feature a bar, banquette seating, and an open kitchen.
