Antica Posta Team to Open New Concept in Buckhead

Plans recently submitted to the city call for breakfast, lunch, and dinner served in a ‘unique ambiance’ that ‘will appeal to everyone.’

Local restaurateur, Marco Betti, recently submitted plans to the Development Review Committee for a new concept dubbed Espresso Bar Restaurant Lounge, to be located in the former home of Portofino at 3199 Paces Ferry Pl, according to media outlet ToNeToAtlanta.

Betti could not be reached for comment. 

Espresso Bar Restaurant Lounge will inhabit the roughly 4,500-square-foot space and its adjacent 1,200-square-foot covered patio, with a menu that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as “late night healthy and guilty Italian pleasures in a lounge elegant casual settings,” as detailed in the submitted plans.

The plans further state that, “With our décor, interior design, menu choices and unique ambiance we will appeal to everyone looking to have a delicious healthy breakfast or lunch or a more indulging one spending quality time with friends and family in our elegant lounge restaurant.”

While breakfast and lunch will take the form of counter service, Espresso Bar Restaurant Lounge will truly come alive in the evenings, thanks to its “trendy atmosphere,” “specialty Italian cocktails and wines,” and “lounge music playing,” with the “occasional young talented DJs spinning at weekends.”
