Arnette’s Chop Shop, named for its founder Michel Arnette, has set an opening date.
Parent company Word of Mouth Restaurants will debut its steakhouse for the first time at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018.
The restaurant group is known for nearby Brookhaven eateries Haven, Valenza, and Vero Pizzeria.
Situated in AVB, a 70,000-square-foot “repositioned warehouse” of “Class-A restaurant and creative office space,” the 6,000-square-foot Arnette’s Chop Shop offers multiple dining areas including a chef’s table, patio, and rooftop bar.
Meat of all varieties and sizes will be the menu’s focus and raw bar items will be on display at the main entrance.
Unique to the restaurant will be the option to join Arnette’s Knife Club—a membership that includes “a luxurious leather knife pouch tagged with your name, joining number, and date of activation.”
The knife pouch comes complete with four rosewood and stainless-handled knives with full-serrated blades, engraved with each member’s name.
These member knife pouches are displayed at the main entrance of Arnette’s Chop Shop on a “spectacular knife library wall,” and are available for the member’s use everytime they dine.
Memberships start at $500.
I was at the soft opening of this restaurant and it is a beautiful place. The food they were passing was delicious. I can’t wait to go back!
All of Michael Arnette’s restaurants are fantastic. Haven is my favorite in Atlanta. If ever I go somewhere else just to give it a try, I always end up thinking that I should have gone to Haven. Can’t wait to try the Chop Shop on the 24th!
