PopUp Bagels is heading to Georgia, marking its first entry into the Atlanta market. The Atlanta location is set to open next month, with additional Georgia locations planned over the coming years. The brand is known for its hot and whole bagels, an experience that fits neatly into Atlanta’s fast-growing, food-forward dining scene.
PopUp Bagels to Debut in Georgia with New Atlanta Store

After building a following across multiple U.S. markets, PopUp Bagels is now making its way to Atlanta. The highly anticipated store will be the first franchise location in the state. Located at 661 Auburn Avenue, NE, the store is set to open on February 6, 2026.
The first PopUp Bagels store opening in Atlanta is in partnership with Janvi Patel of Power Brands Hospitality Group. This family-owned hospitality company based in Alabama operates over 50 restaurants across the Southeastern U.S. With this new addition, the company demonstrates its knowledge of Atlanta’s culinary market and adds to its growing bagel offerings.
Expansion Plans in Georgia

While Georgia is welcoming its first PopUp Bagels store next month, its plans don’t end here. The brand plans to grow its footprint in the state and has plans to expand further. Over the next several years, the bagel brand is set to open five locations across Georgia.
Serving bagels for walk-ins, advance orders, and catering, PopUp Bagels hopes to reach as many people as possible. Its popular ‘Grip, Rip, and Dip’ bagels are also finding new audiences nationwide, further strengthening its position in the industry.
About the Brand

PopUp Bagels debuted in Connecticut in 2021 and soon became a local sensation. The brand quickly gained attention for its focus on quality ingredients and tightly controlled baking techniques. That approach helped the brand earn a loyal following among both bagel enthusiasts and industry insiders.
It has already redefined the bagel experience in NYC, Connecticut, California, Florida, Maine, and beyond. Serving bagels that are freshly baked and served hot, whole, and straight from the oven, it has created a name for itself among people.
While the Atlanta opening represents a major growth milestone, additional Georgia locations are already in the pipeline. The opening adds another fast-casual option to Atlanta’s rapidly expanding food and beverage landscape.
