Taco joint files plans for second Atlanta location.

Bad Dog Taqueria is moving forward with plans to open a second Atlanta location.

The taco joint submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Wednesday for commercial alterations to the lower level of space on the corner of Edgewood and Boulevard at 476 Edgewood Avenue.

Neighboring business owner Grant Henry of Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium has been supporting Bad Dog by serving its tacos at the bar.

“I think it’ll be a great late-night addition to Edgewood,” Henry told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an interview earlier this year.

Bad Dog’s Old Fourth Ward location was originally slated to open this past summer. The taqueria opened its first location at Emory Village in mid-2011.
