A new barbecue and seafood restaurant plans to bring Cajun flavor and mouthwatering barbecue to downtown Dawsonville.
The Sip BBQ & Seafood Company is currently under construction at 731 Highway 9 N. The concept will unite barbecue favorites and fresh seafood.
“Our dedication is to serve up a unique dining experience, combining the smoky, savory goodness of traditional BBQ with flavorful premium seafood,” according to the company.
The Sip BBQ & Seafood Company comes from Mississippi native Brian Knight, who also operates a catering company called Chief’s Catering. Knight told What Now Atlanta they hope to be open in early summer. He is excited about the fresh and flavorful cuisine the restaurant will bring to the area, and he notes that they will also serve breakfast in addition to barbecue and seafood.
“Where I’m from compared to here, the flavor profiles are different – not better or worse, just different,” he said.
The Sip BBQ & Seafood Company is going into the space formerly occupied by Billie’s Country Kitchen.
