An estimated $137,000 will be spent to convert the retail space into a restaurant, according to the permit.
The 2,099-square-foot Barberitos will be the second intown location for the Mexican restaurant. Its other location is at 200 Piedmont Avenue, according to Barberitos website.
Barberitos was not immediately available for comment.
Bitching about *ANOTHER* Tex-Mex restaurant opening in 5…4…3…2…1…
It would be too redundant to bitch. At this point, everyone knows Atlanta is little more than one big outlet mall (with a glimmer of decent eateries here and there)…
Another get-rich-quick scheme GA restaurant opening in….
Texas called– they’d like Georgians to stop using the phrase Tex-Mex ever again. lol…
WTF Another Tex-Mex hole in the wall. We deserve better, but then again, we deserve what we get. This sucks!
“A big outlet mall…”? You ought to love it then, Urbanist!
Hey wait, this was supposed to be a burger place. Nooooooo, it was supposed to be a frozen yogurt place. No fair, Atlanta dining scene!!!
Barberitos is sooooo good, this place started in Athens, GA and they have the freshest, most delicious food ever!!! Can’t wait to have one near me…
Judi works for Barberitos …
Barberito’s is far superior to moe’s and chipotle. I used to compare it to Willy’s but Barberito’s quality has not waned over the year’s. I will now pass the Willy’s by the hospital and the moe’s on my way to Barberito’s
