A new concept from the Blaze Pizza team is slated to join Akers Mill this fall. Ignite by Blaze Pizza will go into the space at 2955 Cobb Parkway, which formerly housed a traditional Blaze Pizza location.
Ignite is designed to usher in “a new era of guest experience,” a representative with Blaze Pizza told What Now Atlanta in an email. Blaze Pizza is headquartered in Atlanta, and the Ignite spot is the closest Blaze location to the Blaze headquarters. Ignite will allow Blaze Pizza to test-run and refine ideas for the larger franchise system.
Expect to see new design elements and hospitality and technology adjustments designed to improve the customer experience.
“This location is designed to be a testing ground for innovation — where we’ll trial new technology, menu items, and operational procedures to evaluate their success before rolling them out systemwide,” the representative said. “We want Ignite to symbolize the spark of change — showing how Blaze is evolving while still keeping pizza at the heart of everything we do.”
For the pizza franchise, which now has hundreds of locations across the country, Ignite will blaze a path forward for the chain in an ever-changing restaurant landscape. Ignite is tailored to further the speed, customization and convenience of the product for customers, while also ensuring franchisees can navigate the restaurant industry well.
“Blaze Pizza is igniting the possibilities in a structured way to address both challenges and opportunities, ensuring Blaze stays ahead of the curve,” the representative said.
Moving forward, the innovations gleaned from the Ignite location will play a major role in changes rolled out across the Blaze brand nationwide, including in design, staffing and operating decisions.
“Over the next three to five years, we anticipate that key learnings from this location will influence systemwide upgrades in technology, menu development and guest engagement,” the representative told What Now Atlanta.”
