UPDATE (December 13, 2018): Blue Coast Burrito To Close Its Doors For Good December 14
Tennessee-based Blue Coast Burrito is expanding to Georgia with a location in the Berkeley Park neighborhood of Atlanta.
The west coast-style quick-service Mexican joint will open in the Berkeley Heights apartment community, at 1700 Northside Drive, according to a permit application recently filed with City of Atlanta.
The latest site plan for the apartment complex also lists Blue Coast Burrito as a tenant.
An estimated $145,000 could be spent building out the 2,308-square-foot franchise-owned restaurant, according to the official permit filing.
While a Blue Coast Burrito spokesperson confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta Monday, the franchisee has not been disclosed.
The restaurant, with locations in Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee, offers build-your-own burritos, fish tacos, salads and more.
