UPDATE (October 17, 2018): Bobby’s Burger Palace Soft Opens At Atlanta Airport
Bobby’s Burger Palace, the fast-casual burger concept created by chef Bobby Flay, Tuesday announced the completion of its first airport licensing deal.
The restaurant will partner with Atlanta-based Concessions International, LLC, to open a location in Concourse B at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, in early 2018.
“This is an exciting time for Bobby’s Burger Palace as we team up with Concessions International to bring our signature hamburgers to over a hundred million travelers who visit Hartsfield-Jackson each year,” Flay said in a prepared statement.
“Our menu celebrates my love for food and travel, which makes the most traveled airport in the world an ideal location. We believe this licensing deal will be the first of many, as we have a significant opportunity to grow worldwide.”
The menu is comprised of a dozen made-to-order never-frozen signature burgers, hand-cut fries, salads, and milkshakes, all created from original Bobby Flay recipes.
To date, the company operates 17 restaurants in the U.S. and plans to expand into new markets around the globe.
What happened with this plan? Did he abandon the location?
Fruit flies here are VERY unappealing!! NOT what I expect form a BOBBY FLAY restaurant- as I am a HUGE fan of his. I have been to a couple of these locations (not in an airport) but I thought for sure they’d keep standards up?!

I just left the restaurant, second time I’ve tried the restaurant, burger was average, onion rings are great, but the draft beer was warm and fruit flies were everywhere at the bar.
Just had lunch here and it was amazing! Best service ever( thanks Tory)! Had the veggie burger & sweet potato fries. We both committed that we could not believe we were in an airport restaurant. Whoever trained and hired this staff knew what they were doing. Will always eat here on our Atlanta layovers!!
