A chef specializing in Mexican cuisine is bringing something new to Peachtree Corners.

Boca Taqueria, a new counter-service concept from Peachtree Corners resident and chef Helio Bernal, is an offshoot of his Summerhill restaurant BOCA Cocina de Barrio, which opened in 2022. BOCA was Bernal’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant, with a full menu and craft bar serving Mexican cuisine like birria tacos, queso fundido and enmoladas.

Prior to opening BOCA, Bernal launched pop-up cart and food truck business The Real Mexican Vittles in 2017, bringing Mexican street food to events and breweries around Atlanta.

Boca Taqueria is one of several tenants rounding out the final lineup at Politan Row at The Forum, a new food hall coming to Peachtree Corners in early 2025. Other recently announced vendors include Kimchi Red, LOL Burger Bar and Sahirah Kebab & Curry. The concepts join previously announced tenants Sheesh Mediterranean, Gekko Kitchen and 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar.

The dining destination is one of several Politan Row food halls in metro Atlanta, along with Politan Row at Colony Square in Midtown and Politan Row at Ashford Lane in Dunwoody.

The Forum Peachtree Corners, also called The Forum, is a 500,000-square-foot outdoor lifestyle center that originally opened in 2002. The Forum currently includes 100,000 square feet of office space; 10,000 square feet of community gathering space; and nearly 70 retailers, restaurants and service providers.

More additions are expected as part of an ongoing redevelopment project aimed at transforming the property into a mixed-use destination.

The Forum is owned by Nuveen Real Estate and Jamestown through a joint venture partnership.
