Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe is planning its first foray into the state. The franchise has inked a lease for Plaza Midtown, with plans to open at 950 W. Peachtree St. NW.

Mohammed Salman will be the franchise owner for the forthcoming Atlanta location. Salman told What Now Atlanta in an email that they are currently in the construction phase. Salman and the team are targeting an opening in 4-6 months.

Gary Woodward, managing director at JLL, represented Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe in the lease for the Plaza Midtown location.

The brand currently has 28 locations across Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia. The strongest presence for the brand is in New York.

There are also plans to enter the Arizona and North Carolina markets, according to the Bora Bora website.

Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe offers a health-focused, fast-casual menu, featuring items such as smoothie, matcha, juice, refreshers, coffee, acai, sandwiches, pancakes, croffles, crepes and waffles.
