A new pizzeria is coming to 2521 Piedmont Rd NE in mid-December.
Brix and Stones is owned by brothers Darshin and Jayshil Dantara and will be operated by Jayshil. It will join The Peninsula at Buckhead apartment community and occupy suite 2102 on the ground floor. Will Wright of Bridger Properties is the Tenant Representative for the deal.
The Peninsula is the perfect spot for the quick-service style of restaurant to open as there’s a lot going on in the area. Right around the corner from iconic nightclub, Tongue & Groove, it is also home to a good number of residents of whom Brix and Stones is hoping to turn in to loyal customers.
“It’s a to-go place,” Jayshil told What Now Atlanta. “So guests can come in and grab pizza by the slice on their lunch break.” As of now, no dine-in service will be offered, but pending necessary permits, the restaurant might open up an outside patio. Delivery will also be available through Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash, Slice, and Postmates.
The menu will feature a variety of pizza types including traditional New York and Sicilian, with the option for guests to order by the slice. Pasta, wings, and calzones will also be offered.
Brix and Stones is setting itself a part from competition early as all pizzas will be hand-tossed and scratch made. “All sauces are made fresh from in-house recipes,” shared Jayshil. “It’s definitely something that people will be attracted to.”
Besides apartments that feature private balconies, a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and community workspace, Peninsula also offers storefront retail and office space.
Located directly north of Midtown, the neighborhood is full of upscale shops and top-rated restaurants. Less than a 10-minute drive from Emory University, Peninsula is also close to destinations such as Atlanta Botanical Garden, Blue Heron Nature Preserve and Piedmont Park.
In such an ideal location, Brix and Stones is sure to attract plenty of hungry Atlantans.
