Downtown Atlanta is getting a piece of The Big Apple with the opening of Brklyn Kitchen and Lounge next week.
The Brooklyn-inspired restaurant and lounge will open Monday, March 18, according to Managing Partner Jermaine Crossman.
“We’re bringing New York to Atlanta,” Crossman, a Brooklyn native, in a telephone interview Wednesday told What Now Atlanta.
“We’ve even got Junior’s Cheesecake.”
Junior’s, founded in Brooklyn in 1950, is a restaurant chain known for its New York-style cheesecake.
On its dinner menu, Brklyn Kitchen and Lounge will mostly offer Caribbean fare “of all kinds.”
There will also be pizza, steaks, and lobster, Crossman said.
The graffitied Brklyn Kitchen and Lounge, at 12 W Peachtree Pl NW, will also offer its guests hookah.
Hmmm. When they came for their liquor license they mentioned NOTHING about hookah.
This place is so unprofessional it should not even be open. I use to work at Brklyn they closed down over night and reopened months later hence the title. THEY OWE ME $900 of MY TIPS and everyone else that worked there money. I would not recommend anyone patronizing a place that can treat its dedicated employees like crap. Also THE AREA IS NOT SAFE MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO RIGHT OUT FRONT along with 5 other cars.
