Italian restaurant to reopen ‘better than ever’ after short remodel.
La Pietra Cucina is reopening after temporarily closing for 14 days of renovations.
The upscale Italian restaurant, at 1545 Peachtree Street, in a Facebook post August 31 announced it would temporarily shutter.
“Ciao, Ladies & Gentlemen – There is exciting news from La Pietra Cucina! We’re currently closed for renovations,” according to the post.
“Join us the week of September 10th when we open our doors & re-launch as ‘LPC’, an evolution of La Pietra Cucina. LPC will offer the best in high quality, casual, approachable and accessible Italian fare.”
What Now Atlanta called LPC Wednesday for renovation specifics and reached an automated recording confirming the Italian restaurant would reopen Thursday:
Thank you for calling LPC. We are currently closed for renovations and remodeling. We will be set to reopen September 13. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.
In May 2009, LPC underwent renovations with a similar timeline. LPC was not immediately available for comment.
