Busy Bee Cafe is moving forward with plans to open a second location early next year.
Permit expediters Thursday filed an application with the City of Atlanta seeking approval to build out the soul food restaurant, at 111 Trinity Ave SW.
A whopping $1 million could be spent constructing the new 5482-square-foot Busy Bee Cafe, according to the plans.
With 200 seats, the new Busy Bee Cafe—less than two-and-a-half miles away from the original—will be nearly triple in size.
The entire space will be flipped including new walls, floors, finishes, fixtures, and equipment.
Owner Tracy Gates did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s requests for comment.
Can’t hardly wait!! Hope food is still SOULFUL GOOD!!
