Almost everything is “digitally-infused” down to the light-up patio furniture.

Bytes, a “digitally-infused” restaurant from the owners of Do, is now open in Midtown. The restaurant’s first day was Friday, October 19, according to a press release.

Touted as “Midtown’s first iPad-driven restaurant,” Bytes is “teched-out” from floor to ceiling with features like: three (2mm-thin) LED screens in the main dining room, a “360-Video-Mapped” private dining/E-Boardroom (holds 30 guests), an outdoor patio area with LED-lighted furniture, and interactive “selfie mirrors” in the bathrooms.

And of course an iPad ordering system.

Bytes is open during lunch, dinner, and late-night, serving a “savory, eclectic menu and organically-engineered cocktail selection.”

The space, at 848 Spring Street in the Square on Fifth apartment complex, has a 3,000-square-foot indoor dining area with a 1000-square-foot patio.
