Cactus House Midtown Has Shriveled Up For Good

Nightclub owner James Nelson was on deck to reboot the taco joint but 'walked away from the deal.'

Cactus House Midtown closed its doors food good after service July 31.

The taco joint announced the news on Facebook Tuesday.

“We would like to thank everyone who came this past year to support Cactus House,” according to the announcement.

“As of July 31, we will be closing our doors to the public.”

James Nelson, the owner of nearby nightclub Ten, was set to acquire the restaurant June 1.

Under the new ownership, Cactus House was to undergo some “serious changes” but Nelson “walked away from the deal,” Emilio Lourdes, the restaurant’s owner, late-Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

No word on what will replace the restaurant on the ground-level of Azure on the Park.
