Al Ozelci’s Cafe Agora at 92 Peachtree Place in Midtown is getting a rather substantial expansion. Right next door, Arden’s Garden decided not to renew its lease for the 90 Peachtree Place location, so the unit will now be a part of Cafe Agora, which will almost double in size following appropriate renovations.

What Now Atlanta (WNA) spoke with Ozelci about the project, which he says will take a lot of work, not only combining the spaces but “cleaning them up” and “modernizing them.” Ozelci’s team is aiming for a November 11 opening, if all goes as planned.

After the renovations are finally completed, Cafe Agora’s menu will also see a bit of expansion, in addition to its wide gyro and kebab selection. On top of that, expect to see more seating options.

Currently, Ozelci’s Mediterranean restaurant — partly inspired by his experience with Turkish Bazaars — has two locations, the aforementioned Midtown spot and a Buckhead one at 318 East Paces Ferry Rd NE. Ozelci has no plans for future locations at the moment, considering the huge task at hand.
