Local chain Cafe at Pharr looks to have a new location on the way, according to a recently filed permit. The spot will take a ground-floor, 1,017-square-foot space at 1180 Peachtree.
The permit calls for renovations including new finishes, ceilings, lighting, doors, plumbing and equipment.
Cafe at Pharr has been part of the community since Mike and Shirley Liu opened in 1993. The chain, which now has locations in Buckhead, Dunwoody and Vinings, serves gourmet salads, toasts and sandwiches. Menu items include walnut chicken salad, curry chicken salad, club salad and vegan veggies salad.

It is unclear when the cafe will open at 1180 Peachtree. Efforts to reach the Cafe at Pharr team, helmed by owner Johnny Liu, for additional information were unsuccessful.
