Cafe at Pharr is coming soon to Paper Mill Village.

Johnny Liu, the restauranteur behind Cafe at Pharr, is planning to open a new location of the quick-service restaurant, this time in East Cobb.

Liu is teaming up with Veronica Estrada, the owner of Sugar Benders Bakery, to open a “co-brand establishment” in Sugar Benders’ current home in Paper Mill Village, at 255 Village Pkwy NE.

“It’s preliminary right now but thinking ‘Cafe at Pharr by Sugar Benders,” Lui in an email Monday told What Now Atlanta.

“That way we keep Veronica’s great customers with custom cake orders but operate mainly as a Cafe at Pharr.”

Lui first announced the news late last week in a Facebook post on the restaurant’s company page.

“East Cobb, Georgia, we are coming to you!”

The 2,080-square-foot space should reopen with both brands by late-September, if all goes to plan.

The East Cobb outpost will join existing locations in Buckhead, Miami Circle, Vinings, and West Midtown, according to the restaurant’s website.
