A local gourmet grilled cheese spot appears to be eyeing a new location & Cheese, whose initial location is in Lenox Square. It is looking to open at Midtown Station at 620 Peachtree St. NE, Suite Cu1, according to a recent business license filing. The space formerly belonged to a Subway.
& Cheese finds its niche in creating gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Menu items include variations of sourdough grilled cheese sandwiches, including a vegan option made with vegan cheese. The spot also offers sides such as tomato soup, collard greens and mac and cheese.
& Cheese co-owner Hanz Fequiere, who also owns Constant Healthcare, confirmed the forthcoming Midtown location in a phone call with What Now Atlanta, though he was unable to immediately provide further information.
Currently, the opening timeline for the location remains unclear.
