Chipotle is planning to build a new restaurant on Cascade Road.

Plans were just filed in Atlanta for the 2,330-square-foot freestanding restaurant. It will come to 3460 Cascade Road, not far from the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve.

According to a site plan submitted in Atlanta, the restaurant will include a pickup window for online orders, suggesting the location will employ the chain’s “Chipotlane” model. There will also be an 800-square-foot outdoor dining area.

“We are exploring opportunities [to] bring our food with integrity to more communities in Atlanta,” Sally Evans, a spokesperson for Chipotle, told What Now Atlanta in an email. Evans declined to offer additional details about the new location.

This week, Chipotle announced it opened its 500th Chipotlane restaurant, according to QSR Magazine.

“Chipotlanes are the digital drive thru of the future and a key piece of our growth strategy as we plan to more than double our restaurant count over the long term to achieve 7,000 restaurants or more in North America,” Tabassum Zalotrawala, chief development officer for Chipotle, told the publication.

Zalotrawala didn’t immediately respond to a request for more information about the Cascade Road location.
