UPDATE (December 14, 2017): Chuy’s will be built from the ground up in Liberty Village.

Chuy’s, a Tex-Mex chain restaurant headquartered in Austin, Texas since 1982, is planning its fourth Georgia location, this time in Alpharetta.

The restaurant will be situated in a new development, Liberty Village, at the intersection of Old Milton and Westside Parkways, according to a Request for Information (RFI) by Chuy’s this week.

Construction on the 5,800-square-foot Chuy’s will be built from the ground up and is expected to begin in August 2017, according to the RFI.

When Chuy’s Alpharetta will open has not been confirmed. The company did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.

The restaurant currently has Georgia locations in Cumberland, Kennesaw, and Sandy Springs.
