Main & Main, a food hall planned in the “reimagined” Colony Square, is for a second time without an operating partner.

Texas-based Oz Rey, the food hall operator contracted by North American Properties (NAP) to curate tenants for the Midtown hospitality concept, and act as its operator, has parted ways with the developer, a source familiar with the departure shared with What Now Atlanta (WNA) this week.

NAP is said to be once again taking bids for the project after last month filing plans to begin construction on the 25,000-square-foot, $4.2 million food hall.

Oz Rey was also on board to curate food halls for Revel and Riverton, two additional mixed-use developments from NAP.

All three projects, including Main & Main, have since been removed from the Oz Rey website.

Oz Rey is the second would-be food hall operator to depart ways with NAP on the Colony Square project.

Steve Palmer of Charleston-based Indigo Road Hospitality Group, the company behind Colleta, Donetto, Oak Steakhouse, O-KU Sushi, and Tiny Lou’s, was originally tasked with curating Main & Main.

Although Palmer is no longer involved with Main & Main, the restauranteur and NAP appear to be on good terms.

Palmer recently opened Sukoshi in the mixed-use development.

It’s unclear why Oz Rey and NAP are no longer working together on the three food hall projects.

Representatives at both companies have for several days ignored WNA’s request for comment.
