The Japanese-centric eatery will be temporarily shifting to a private event space until fall 2017.

Private event space?

It’s what next for Nexto, Concentrics Restaurants’ Japanese-centric eatery located in the Old Fourth Ward.

The restaurant will be “temporarily shifting to a private event space for groups of all sizes,” a company spokesperson Tuesday told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email.

Nexto will resume lunch and dinner service this fall. The restaurant first opened its doors in October 2016.

“Since opening, [Nexto] has become a popular space for private functions and the summer is an ideal time to open its doors to that demand and expand to offer a variety of food, drink and service options inspired by favorite Concentrics’ concepts,” the spokesperson said.

“Stay tuned for many new exciting surprises when it reopens this fall.”

In related news, Concentrics’ Lobby Bar & Bistro, is slated to shutter later this year and reopen as Italian concept Allora.
