What’s considered failing?

Failing scores change from one health inspector to the next but the industry standard is that anything below a 70 (out of 100) is failing, according to April Majors, public information officer for the Fulton County Environmental Health Services Department.

  • One of the things that Fulton County Restaurateurs don’t realize is that they have the means of contesting their scores before they are published on line. Here is the link to a letter from Commisioner Rob Pitts describing the process.

    The Georgia Restaurant Association has worked with the Fulton County Heath Dept. to educate and advocate for the Restos in Fulton and around the State (another very good reason that ALL restos should be members-strength in numbers).
