If the restaurant sells, it’ll reopen under a new concept.
As predicted, Corner Tavern is selling its West Midtown location, according to a recently posted sales listing.
The Shumacher Group, an Atlanta-based real estate broker company, listed a West Midtown “tavern restaurant, bar and billiards” sales flier that looked suspiciously familiar to Corner Tavern’s Apex West Midtown location, back in April.
Michael Rabb, Corner Tavern owner, didn’t have anything to say when What Now Atlanta approached him seeking confirmation on the restaurant being up for sale.
Can you blame him? The restaurant’s only been open for a little over a year.
So if you’re interested in leasing the restaurant space (less the name and concept), it’s assets are going for a cool $200,000, according to the listing. That, plus signing on a “long term” lease for $5,600 per month and extras at $1,500, of course.
But wait, there’s more! Rabb is very interested in selling, the post notes.
“Owner is very motivated and will look at all reasonable offers including providing financing to qualified individuals.”
Sounds like an opportunity to cut a deal!
Its been for sale for many months, started at 250k. Part of the huge scam of restaurant sales.
What is the scam?
horrible deal! no new owner will make a dime if they continue to charge a rent like !!! WAKE UP ATLANTA LANDLORDS! THIS SPACE WILL STAY EMPTY until rent is drastically reduced.
