A new pizza spot is heading to downtown Senoia. Crust & Craft Pizza will open at 70 Main St. in late February or early March, co-owner David Valentine told What Now Atlanta.

This location will join existing spots in McDonough and Greenville, South Carolina. The brand serves pizzas such as chicken bacon ranch, margherita, truffle mushroom and pepperoni purist. Other menu items include craft pasta, salads and starters.

Valentine has been in the Senoia area for about eight years, managing Nic & Norman’s through 3 Keys and Company, Valentine’s management business. He saw the area as a good option for a Crust & Craft location, so he embraced the opportunity to join the downtown community.

The spot in Senoia will be about 3,200 to 3,400 square feet and will feature a patio and garden area in addition to indoor dining. Seating capacity will be about 100-120.

The outdoor space will offer a stage for live music, a big screen for viewing sporting events, outdoor tables and firepits. There will be an indoor-outdoor bar as well as a second bar outside. The interior design will feature an open kitchen and wood, brick and concrete elements with design notes such as wagon wheel chandeliers.

The new location will feature a menu that is largely the same as those of the other two locations. However, the brand leaves wiggle room for specials and changes to local menus to adhere to the community.

“We really treat each location as its own. We don’t run them like they’re a chain restaurant at all,” Valentine said. “If there’s something that the guests really love and it’s part of that culture, [we’ll change it].”

Moving forward, Valentine is looking to open more Crust & Craft locations in the area and is hoping to expand beyond the area through franchising.

“It’s a fun place. We really built it so everyone can come in, whether it’s date night or family night or just a quick bite and a beer or a cocktail,” Valentine said. “It’s not just a beer-and-pizza joint — it’s nice inside but it’s not anywhere that’ll break the budget. We really just want to be a place where everybody can go and relax and have a good time.”
