After a five-year run in Senoia, Curious Kitchen and Bar has announced that it is relocating to Newnan. It will take the space at 80 Newnan Station Dr. formerly home to Mama Lucia’s.
“Senoia, you’ve given us a story we’ll always treasure,” the announcement stated. “As we move our doors to Newnan, we carry with us every memory and the deepest thanks to our incredible customers who made these years so special. Here’s to new chapters, continued service and shared meals in Newnan!”
The team plans to conclude service at the Senoia location on Sept. 15.
Scott Smith is behind Curious Kitchen and Bar. He decided to open the spot after seeing success with The Curious Pig, which opened in Peachtree City in 2018. The team is also behind Curious Cantina, located at Kedron Village Shopping Center in Peachtree City.
Smith confirmed plans for the move with What Now Atlanta but was not immediately available to provide comment.
A sneak peek video of the second-generation restaurant space in Newnan features plenty of wood, a bar and an outdoor patio area. The team has also announced plans to hire more employees prior to opening at the new location.
Menu items at Curious Kitchen and Bar include tapas like fried green tomatoes, cornbread muffins and shaved ribeye sliders; burgers and sandwiches; and entrees like double-cut pork chop and Waygu steak-frites.
