D Boca N Boca is getting a permanent brick-and-mortar storefront.

The mobile Mexican food cart, seen on the streets as “The Real Mexican Vittles,” will open in the Summerhill neighborhood of Atlanta as part of Carter’s redevelopment project.

Owner Helio I Bernal secured a lease for the forthcoming restaurant space yesterday, Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group, Inc. in an email Tuesday told What Now Atlanta.

Josovitz brokered the deal.

The new storefront, at 39 Georgia Avenue, will be a “full-service Mexican gastropub and taqueria with a cutting edge beverage program a stunning outdoor patio,” Josovitz said.

Bernal was not immediately available for comment.

D Boca N Boca can currently be found on wheels—but not in a truck—throughout the city and at various events.

It serves “authentic and delicious Mexican bites that take our customers on a trip across the border through our savory experience” including tacos and tamales.
