‘Jamaican Jerk center’ files plans for downtown.
Atlanta’s historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood will soon be home to Dat Fire Jerk Chicken.
The soon-to-open restaurant submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Tuesday to convert space downtown, at 226 Northside Dr. SW., on the corner of Larkin St. and Northside Dr.
“Dat Fire Jerk Chicken is soon to be Atlanta’s #1 Jamaican Jerk Center,” the restaurant proclaims in the about section of its already popular Facebook page.
Dat Fire will serve “traditional Jamaican jerk chicken infused with natural herbs and spices which validates it’s authenticity seal in the cultural heritage of Caribbean cuisine,” according to the restaurant’s website.
